What is SMATEE?
SMATEE is also known as State Medical and Technical Entrance Examination. It is a state-level exam conducted by the Department of Higher and Technical Education Mizoram. The SMATEE examination is conducted to shortlist the candidates for admission to higher technical studies in various degree courses in Agriculture Science, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science and Medical Science, etc. Selection of candidates will be done through written examinations in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates looking forward to getting admission in any degree courses in Mizoram need to compulsorily qualify for the SMATEE examination.
